A 360 degrees view of MF Cultures – Intercultural Workshop

    

During the 360° session at the 2009 Symposium, we gave the Melton Foundation members a safe environment and let them ask questions about cultures and countries outside their own. Everyone gathered into small, multicultural groups and was asked to write down questions that would be later answered by the group´s members who belonged to country/culture the question was asked about.. The fact that a person could ask questions anonymously gave everyone immense confidence to put forth intense and personal questions that they would not have ordinarily posed to anyone and maybe not even their friends.

Due to the overwhelming success of this session in the previous Symposium at New Orleans, this session was conducted again during the 2009 Symposium in Bangalore. The questions and answers that came from the session reflected a wide spectrum of interests and individual perspectives and opinions. In order to share the questions with you and also get you to think of answers, we're putting up the questions online. Feel free to answer them or comment on replies. We look forward to learning more from you, whether you were at the symposium or not.
