Mutual Capacity Development Grant (MCDG)

è temporarily also: Campus-2-Campus grant ç
(see below!)

The Mutual Capacity Development Grant helps fellows develop skills and gain knowledge that advance their professional, intellectual, and personal development while simultaneously enabling them to help improve the capacity of the MF Network to which they belong. Specifically, the grant covers investments in training, education, conferences and workshops or other learning activities in line with the MF’s Guiding Principle or strategic criteria.

Some illustrative examples of possible supported activities are:

* Courses or other types of training on topics such as team management, cross-cultural communication, distance learning, writing and editing, budgeting, Web design, fundraising, etc. that the grantee can use to grow individually and support one of his or her roles in the MF (e.g. workgroup mentor; Solution Group; Symposium organizer, speaker, or facilitator; volunteer publications editor; website development, BOD rep., Project Group leader, etc.)
* Content training that can be applied to MF activities such as in the symposium theme or project group.(For example, taking a comparative film course for a Project.Culture member to increase the impact of the MF global film festival.)
* Presenting a paper or participating in panel or talk at a local or international conference, seminar, or workshop on a subject related to the MF’s mission and activities, such as comparative discussion of a global issue, intercultural topics, international education, or drawing from specific MF experiences.

Groups (including TTs as members) as well as individual fellows can apply for this grant.
