On 21 June, the first quarterly conference call of 2007 was held. The members who attended the conference were: Dr. Babu, David Lyons, Gottfried Jetschke, Li Zhen, Randy Peters, Ricardo Herrera (in place of Sergio Bravo), Sharon Byrd, Susan Steiner, Tanja Schulze, Tatiana Diener (in place of Sergio Bravo), Torunn Meighan, Ulrike Brandt and Winthrop Carty. The members who were not present: Cheng Jin, Jorge Bedecarratz, Marvalene Hughes, Meeta Gangrade and Sergio Bravo.

The new BOD website was launched last week. This is an effort from the BOD to establish a two-way information channel between the BOD and the MF community and to foster the transparency of their activities (http://drupal.meltonfoundation.org/BOD).  The website uses the Drupal technology tool that allows for documents upload and downloads, chats, suggestion box, and more, and is being managed by our webmaster Hiweed.
